Why does Feckless need Screen Time access?

It's the only way an iPhone app is allowed to block other apps. Apple only shows us anonymous tokens for the apps you pick, and your usage never leaves your phone.

The block screen didn't show up.

Check Settings → Screen Time is turned on, and that Feckless is allowed under Settings → Screen Time → Apps with Screen Time Access. Then open Feckless and tap "Save limit". iOS can take a minute to start counting.

How do I get more time?

Tap "Text Mom for 10 min" (or whoever you picked) on the block screen, open Feckless, and send the confession. Only when the message is actually sent do you get 10 minutes. 3 a day max. Turn on Hard Mode to remove the option completely.

Can I change who roasts me or how harsh it is?

Yes, any time in the app. The swearing tone needs an 18+ confirmation and never appears on your lock screen.

How do I turn it off?

Open Feckless and tap "Turn everything off". Deleting the app also removes every block and all data.
